Temporary housing at RV Park in Panama City, FL after Hurricane Michael.

Bear Creek Bridge on Bay Loop Road (83A) opened in July 2024. After the 12-month repair project, the Walton County Board of County Commissioners hosted a ribbon cutting for the bridge re-opening. The $1.1 million project was funded by the Florida Department of Transportation, the Walton County Commission and the City of Freeport.

The Deer Lake Bridge project was discussed at the Walton County Commissioners Meeting.
